Suggesting a Feature

How to suggest a new feature for KubeWatch, and how the public feature-request board works.

The Feature Requests page is where anyone, customer or not, can suggest something they'd like KubeWatch to build, and upvote requests other people have already submitted. No account or login is required.

Submitting a request

Fill in a short title, a description of what you want and why, and an email address so we can follow up if we have questions. There's no character-count game to play: keep it as short or as detailed as your idea needs.

Upvoting

Every request shows a vote count. Click the arrow next to a request to add your vote. There's no account or cookie involved: a vote is tied to your network address, so voting again from the same connection just shows your existing vote rather than adding a second one. Votes help us prioritize, but they aren't the only input: customer plan tier, implementation cost, and how a request fits the roadmap all factor in too.

Status labels

  • Open: submitted, not yet reviewed or scheduled.
  • Planned: on the roadmap.
  • Shipped: built and available. Check the changelog for when.
  • Declined requests are removed from the public board (they still exist internally), so the page only ever shows things that are either still being considered or already committed to.

What happens to your email

Your email is used only to follow up on your specific request. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it more generally.
