Upgrade & Downgrade

How to change your KubeWatch subscription plan.

Changing your plan

Upgrading and downgrading use the same flow, whichever direction you're moving:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Pick a billing period, Monthly or Yearly
  3. Click Subscribe to Pro or Subscribe to Enterprise, whichever you want
  4. You're redirected to Paystack's hosted checkout page to pay
  5. On successful payment you're returned to Settings → Billing with the new plan already active

There's no separate "confirm downgrade" step and no stored payment method to reuse: every plan change, in either direction, is a fresh Paystack checkout for the full price of the plan and period you selected.

The change takes effect immediately on both an upgrade and a downgrade, the moment Paystack confirms the payment. There's no proration: you're charged the new plan's full price for a full new period starting now, and no credit carries over from whatever time was left on your previous period.

What changes immediately

FeatureChange
Agent limitNew agents can register up to the new plan's cap right away. Agents already registered keep reporting even if you're now over the new, lower cap; only new registrations are blocked until you're back under it.
Alert rulesNew rules can be created up to the new plan's cap right away. Existing rules over a lower cap keep running; only creating additional ones is blocked.
Team membersNew invites are allowed up to the new plan's cap right away. Existing members keep their access; only inviting additional ones past a lower cap is blocked.

Logs and metrics retention isn't affected by a plan change either way. It's set per-org in Settings → Usage & Limits, independent of your plan.

Canceling instead of downgrading

There's no Free plan to downgrade to. If you'd rather stop paying altogether, see Canceling entirely below: your account is suspended (not deleted) once your subscription ends, and you can pick a plan again any time to restore access.

Canceling entirely

See Cancellation & Data Export.
